Small business loans: after fuel, when the trucking company needs more

7A’s main visitor is a long-haul owner-operator who needs fuel money. Use this page when the gap is bigger than a fill-up: a motor, insurance down payment, or weeks of working capital. A small business loan request on 7A is still a short lead form. It is not a credit decision and not an SBA application.

7A may email your request to the site operator and share it with lending partners. Those partners decide whether to talk with you about an SBA 7(a) loan, a conventional term loan, or nothing at all.

What small business loan searches usually mean

People typing “small business loans” often want one of four things: working capital, equipment or inventory, refinance of a higher-cost balance, or a government-backed 7(a) product. The product name on an ad and the product a lender will actually underwrite are not the same thing. 7A does not pick the product. We collect the request.

Typical request ranges on this site run from a few thousand dollars up to $250,000. SBA 7(a) loans can be larger or smaller than that in the real market. The amount you select here is a preference, not a commitment from anyone.

Working capital, equipment, and refinance

Working capital is the most common small-business 7A request: cover a contract delay, restock, or smooth a seasonal dip. Lenders will usually want to see that the business already has revenue, not only an idea.

Equipment or inventory is easier for some partners to understand because the use of funds is specific. Keep a quote or invoice ready if a lender asks. Do not upload it on this page.

Business refinance means you already have debt and want different terms. A partner may or may not refinance merchant-cash-advance or high-fee balances. That is their decision.

How a 7A small business loan request differs from a bank visit

A bank or credit-union 7(a) file can include tax returns, a debt schedule, ownership details, and SBA forms. 7A does not collect those documents. If a partner continues, they will run their own process. Submitting here does not put you in an SBA queue and does not reserve a 7(a) slot.

If you already have a relationship with an SBA-preferred lender, start there. Use 7A when you want a single request that we may introduce to partners who work small business loans.

What to have ready if a lender calls

Do not send Social Security numbers or bank logins through this website.

Cost and eligibility, in plain language

Small business credit can be expensive, especially when it is not a long-term 7(a) loan. Fees, shorter terms, and personal guarantees are common. Approval is never guaranteed by 7A. Some businesses will not fit a partner’s box: startups with no revenue, consumer-only use of funds, or requests that look like a personal bill labeled as a company.

7A is not the SBA, not a lender, and not a government portal. Read the Terms and Privacy Policy before you submit.
